UK artist Chappell is about to make collectors rather happy with the upcoming drop of his new Ralphy R. resin art toy. His take on TMNT’s Raphael features a dynamic pose, with the heroic turtle poised for action on top of a sewer cover. As always Ralphy carries his twin sai and another razor sharp weapon as well.
Known for a variety of figures based on iconic characters, Chappell has been slowly releasing his TMNT takes over several years. Patience is rewarded as he drops the fourth and final of his turtle takes, Ralphy R. While it’s common for the figures in a series to be released in quick order, the handmade nature of these plus the artist’s focus on a wide range of franchises has meant that being a Chappell TMNT completist is truly earned.
The Ralphy R. resin art toys (5.51″) will be available in four editions (Movie Green with brown leather pads, Toy Green with red pads, Gray with red pads, and Red) for preorder on Sunday, January 28th at 12 PM PST from Mahalo Cabin for £129.99 (~ $154). The figures are slated to ship at the end of June 2024.
