At the end of 2023 Jermaine Rogers debuted two new vinyl art toys which were previously only available in low-run resin editions. Animal features Rogers’ familiar, fierce rabbit toting an AR-15 style assault rifle. Creeping Dero marks the return of the artist’s signature bear in a prone pose, all the better to sneak upon the naive.
For those that missed his DesignerCon 2023 drops, Rogers is set to release three of the figures online for collectors who weren’t able to make the show: Animal and Creeping Dero figures in the stealthy Shadow variants (red eyes + black body) and the unpainted Creeping Dero in bright white. The unpainted edition stands out as it’s unusual to see a white/DIY edition as a production run. usually these are reserved for artists participating in a custom show.
All three figures including the Animal Shadow Variant (8″, ed. of 400, $80), Creeping Dero Shadow Variant (8″, ed. of 400, $80) and Creeping Dero Unpainted Variant (8″, ed. of 250, $70) will be available on Friday (2.9) at 12 PM PST from Jermaine Rogers’ web store.
