With the popularity of Eiichiro Oda’s epic One Piece juggernaut at an all time high with the release of Netflix’s live adaptation, Jason Freeny x Mighty Jaxx have fused their creative energies to create the XXRAY Plus: Luffy Gear 5 vinyl art toy.
The new figure features the Straw Hats pirates’ captain at the ultimate height of his dizzying rubbery powers. The larger 8″ toy is based on the Hidden Dissectibles: One Piece (Luffy’s Gears) blindbox series coveted chase. The powerful, twisting design showcases Freeny’s signature anatomical style which powers the entire XXRAY line.
An open edition, the XXRAY Plus: Luffy Gear 5 Ed. vinyl art toy (8″) will be available for pre-order on Saturday (1.6) at 6 AM PST from Mighty Jaxx for $159 and is slated to ship in May 2024.
